Terms of service

Service scope
Sumloom is a manual budgeting service. It does not provide financial, tax, legal, or investment advice.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for checking entries and balances against your own records. Do not rely on Sumloom as the sole record of your finances.
Availability
We may update features to improve the service. Budget data is synchronized through Sumloom servers, and you can export your data from Settings.
Subscriptions and payments
Every household begins with a 30-day free trial that requires no payment details. After the trial, the household subscription costs $4.99 per month or $49.99 per year, as selected at checkout, plus any applicable tax shown before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled. You can manage or cancel a subscription from Settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Paddle is the merchant of record for subscriptions. Paddle processes the payment, calculates and remits applicable transaction taxes, and issues invoices. The legal seller and charge descriptor are displayed during checkout and on the invoice.
There is no separate free signup tier. When a trial ends without a subscription, the household becomes read-only: its data is retained and remains available to view, export, or delete, but new entries cannot be added.
Support, privacy, and refund requests
Use the contact form for support, privacy, billing, or refund requests. Signed-in requests use the account name and email address. Responses are sent by email.
Email replies are not monitored. Use the secure “Contact Sumloom” link to follow up. Refund requests do not cancel subscriptions; cancel separately in Settings.
